The ranking is evidence of the quality and impact of our social protection research, policy advisory work and capacity building initiatives around the world. EPRI’s main mandate is to build and share an evidence base on social protection that is drawn from economic analysis and global lessons of experience. EPRI endeavours to build South-South cooperation and develop local knowledge, by means of research, capacity-building work and technical assistance to country-led policy formation.
EPRI offers a number of social protection courses on how to design, implement and monitor effective and efficient social protection systems. The courses are offered jointly with the Institute for Development Studies (IDS -Sussex) and the UNU-MERIT. Graduates and participants of the course include policymakers, government officials, programme practitioners and representatives from multilateral agencies and nongovernmental organisations. The courses draw from EPRI’s extensive social protection experience and are delivered by a team of international social protection experts, thought-leaders and professionals who have vast experience working in the social protection field, both in practice and academically.
